New Era Online: Life Reset is a LitRPG series following Oren, a once-powerful player who finds himself trapped as a level 1 goblin in the virtual world of NEO. Stripped of his abilities and unable to log out, Oren must survive in a hostile environment filled with monsters and players alike.

His journey focuses on transforming his weak, starting character into a powerful force by building a monster clan. Initially, his goal is simply to survive. He quickly runs afoul of other players, particularly his former guild. He also must contend with the dangerous inhabitants such as Hobgoblins. As the series progresses, the game world changes, trapping humans and turning them into resources.

Oren finds himself leading a monster army, and his quest extends to saving trapped players and facing even greater challenges, ultimately leading to a final, climactic battle. The series combines elements of town-building, monster raising, magical crafting, and a mischievous AI companion.
