Light Online

Light Online follows Eddie Hunter, a man down on his luck who takes a job farming in the Long Term Immersion game, Light Online.

He and other farmers enter the game using modified pods that unexpectedly trap them inside. Although the developers work toward a fix, Eddie needs to earn money and becomes increasingly involved in the game.

He discovers a hidden development quest and finds his in-game life more appealing than his real one. He starts his own inn and builds things, expanding the game's Meadowlands area with the help of his party, but the growth causes the game's AI to add new content.

Balancing adventuring and building becomes more challenging as Eddie's actions have consequences for the game itself.
